Hugs for Hope is an organization established to support individuals and their families as they walk through their journey with cancer. The Hugs for Hope ministry is called to extend the love of Christ by crafting handmade yellow scarves and other items to be sent around the country through the organization. Our mission is to pass on the skill of how to create handmade yellow scarves and other items to wrap those suffering with cancer in a hug of hope.

How can you help? Attend a class or donate yellow yarn, crafting tools — knitting looms, knitting needles, crochet hooks, sewing tape measure, etc. All are welcome to participate.

Meal Ministry

brittany taylor

The purpose of our Meal Ministry is to help our church family members who are in need by providing ready-made meals. During times of need like recovering from medical illness, personal crisis, loss, or the birth of a new baby, it is an incredible blessing to see a friendly face and receive a meal from the church family.

"…For I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in….The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of my brothers of mine, you did for me.’ “ Matthew 25:35,40 (NIV)
